1. No Leave of absence is granted except on previous written application from the Parents / Guardians and that also only for serious reasons which should be mentioned in the LEAVE RECORD page of the diary ( school calendar). Attendance on the first day of school is compulsory. 

2. Newly  admitted students must be in their respective classes from the first school day or their names will be struck off and other boys /girls will be admitted in their places. Non- availability of reservation will not be accepted as a reason for coming late. 

3. No boy/girl who has been absent from school be admitted to class without the Principal’s signature in the calendar. 

Students who are late will get their class teacher’s signature. Habitual late comers will be sent to the principal. 

4. On return to school an absentee must produce his / her parent’s written note of absence on the Absence Record of the school diary. Failure to produce such explanations results in the students being sent home in which circumstances the school disclaims all responsibility. 

5. Attendance at official school functions like Sports Day, Independence Day, School feast, Republic Day, Children’s Day and Teachers’ Day is Compulsory. 

6. A Pupil who has been suffering from an infectious disease must bring a doctor’s certificate declaring him/her fit to attend school without danger of infectings others. The Principal should be informed as soon as possible, if due to illness a pupil is liable to be absent for more than 2 days, a Medical Certificate in this regard should then be produced.
