1. The library is open on class days during school hours for the issue and return of books.
2. No one may take any book from the library before having it entered in the register.
3. Books are issued for the use of the borrower only.
4. The attention of the librarian should be drawn to a book that an intending borrower finds damaged. Damage sustained by books while out of the library will be laid to the charge of the borrower, who will have to make it good.
All books must be returned before the beginning of the exams.
The borrower who fails to return a book or loses it becomes liable to a fine equal to the value of the book. A pupil not paying a fine due under rule 62 or guilty of disobedience to the directions of the librarian or of disorderly conduct renders himself liable to suspensions from the use of the library.
